I commenced working at Longford abattoir in 1995, and progressed through on-site plant jobs into livestock admin. From there I was promoted to a livestock buyer in 2005 before being appointed as the Livestock Manager for JBS Tasmania in 2010.
Over these years I have obtained a great knowledge of both cattle and lambs, with access to view livestock daily on hoof and hook giving me a firm understanding of weights and stock conditions.
Through my experiences at JBS I have become a motivated and driven person to achieve the best outcomes. I believe planning, organisation and communication are the key to successful outcomes. With these principles, I hope to be able to build strong relationships with clients to provide them a satisfying result and experience on their livestock sales and purchases.
